There are numerous caverns in the vicinity of Shenandoah NP.  We drove over to Luray one day and spent most of the day at Luray Caverns, after a short hike in the morning.  One of the really unusual places in the cavern is the pipe organ.  The pipes are the stalactites fitted with special mechanisms...the sound is really something!
